#asktheexperts my daughter is diagnosed by tongue tie. is it necessary to perform a surgery or we can wait for few more years?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. you can wait not only till 3 years but forever but then you should know that if your baby has tongue tie then speech will always be a problem as because the tongue is tied so baby will not be able to speak normally so please do as per doctor advice if surgery is needed get a dun three years will be too late

Hello,it's been seen that tongue tie problem solve itself in the age of two to three years and if babies this problem continues,then after three years you have to do sugery to solve this problem,so you can wait for sometime till your baby turns three years old but after that sugery is required.
