A. it is a condition in which there is restriction in the movements of the tongue due to presence of band tissue beneath the tongue which is attached to the floor of the mouth. it may cause restriction in feeding drinking and later speech and articulation of words. if the child is not having any complaints then no treatment is required but this has to be discussed with your doctor who will tell you whether any surgical intervention for the removal of band is required or not(tongue tie division) the cure procedure can be carried out t at any age. if tongue-tie is left alone, babies can often grow out of it as their mouth develops. however, some cases of tongue-tie may require surgery for correction. s

A. Siri if you just talking about the pronunciation and that can be clear by the age of 7 to 8 years also so I do not suggest to go for surgery as of now wait for at least two or three more or see how your child is picking up otherwise surgery can always be done in the later age 5 want to go ahead with this early and it is not necessary De chaya speaks well
