#asktheexperts My daughter is 5 years 9 months old.She is having cough and cold and fever ranging between 100-102 from Saturday. I am giving P250(6ml/dose) in every 5 to 6 hrs duration and solvincold syrup(5ml/dose) twice a day. But till now the fever is not reducing completely. She weighs 24 kg. Please suggest how to reduce fever.

A. If the fever doesn’t reduce within maximum time of three days and it is not a normal fever in such a situation you should consult your doctor it could be associated with any other kind of fever so once the doctor is going to examine the child they will advise you with further medication to be given and in some cases course of antibiotics is also required
