#asktheexperts my daughter is 19months old having diarrhea from tuesday its been 6 days. consulted dr giving her med...she is urinating 8 times a day.but not eating anything. so can u help me by telling in how many days diarrhea will go? Giving her ors time to time

A. Usually within 7 to 8 days the infection should reduce and try giving lots of bland diet and oral liquid. As whenever there is diarrhea. There will be lots of dehydration. You can consider starting antibiotics.

A. mayy need culture. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
