Hi Half KG in a month is considered as decent weight gain for the child if your child is gaining half a KG every month and that is fine so if you calculate it from the birth weight half a KG every month is going to be approximately three kgs which is good enough in totality of course the game can be better but certain times breastfeeding is not that strong to gain more weight
