Q.

#asktheexperts my daughter is 1.6years old and she still does not walk on her own,although she crawls around the house and pull things ,stands with support . What should we do to make her walk ?

A. ua baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case afny Walker should be avoidred as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. A Child normally can work independently by the age of 17 months if your child is not yet working well independently that it will be good enough for you to get it checked with the paediatrician ones because maybe there is some issue that you need to address to
