#asktheexperts My daughter is 1.4 months old she is suffering from cold cough and fever . and not eating anything . plz help me out .

A. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antidpyreticsr analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

A. Hi It is a very normal thing when a child is having fever or cold or cough I’m just going to advise you to give more of liquid diet to the child which can include buttermilk milk coconut water or any other healthy liquid that you want to give to the child you just stick to that only if your child is not having solid food as of now
