#asktheexperts my daughter have cough and cold last 1 week can she take vaccination or not

A. simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delzay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the zchild and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. Yes you should take the vaccination it is only recommended to avoid vaccination if the child suffering with fever so if your child is not having fever is only seasonal cold or coughing then you definitely can go ahead vaccination it’s not a problem
