A. Dear parent, its common children can be picky eaters till 5-6 years. set a positive example for your child, by having all healthy foods. create a conducive environment for building healthy eating habits. offer choice between two fruits or vegetables any one of which you may want her to try. yourself eat the fruit that you want her to try and explain its texture, flavour to the kid and ask whether she would like to give it a try don't be pushy but be gently encouraging remember it's a phase it will pass baby can be fussy eaters. they may eat only one type of food and suddenly even stop eating that. so you have to be persistent and keep trying.

A. Hello good morning !! Observe baby taste preference whether spicy, less spicy or no spices, sweet or sour or plain favourite texture like semi solids, solids, rice items or roti or stuffed ... Plan a meal accordingly so that the balanced nutrition is included. Plain roti with dal, sabji, egg or meat ; stuffed roti or rice with dal, curd, rice recipes ajwain, jeera or kichdi with vegetables or egg rice, pulav.. Fruits which are naturally sweet are suggested to be offered always prefer direct fruits (pieces) instead juices, puriees...., flavoured yogurts initially for tasting fruits.. Check if baby having pin worms which reduce appetite ; give timely feedings 3 meals and 2 snacks avoid junk, oily, processed foods.
