#asktheexperts my child Aarav do all day potty. I don't know what is the reason. is it cold or is it stomach issue? 7 or 8 times do potty in a day.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

It is normal.
If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day, gaining weight, accepting feeds then no need to worry about the frequency of potty. Take care
