A. If your baby struggles and cries while passing stool, it may be due to constipation or hard stool. To help: Ensure your baby is well-hydrated with breast milk or formula. If the baby is above 6 months, give mashed fruits like papaya, prunes, or banana, and offer water in small amounts. A gentle tummy massage and bicycle leg movements can relieve discomfort. Warm baths may help relax the muscles and ease stool passing. If the problem continues or the stool has blood, consult a pediatrician for evaluation.
