#asktheexperts My baby weighs 5.2kg . He is 7 month old. We tried giving SMT MCT oil 1ml thrice as prescribed by neurologist as baby had birth injury, but he alway chokes. He doesn't like tastes n doesn't swallow and starts coughing. Does SMT MCT helps gaining weight.

A. Yes A lot of doctors believe that this does help in weight gain a child is not having it directly you can ask your doctor if you can add it into some food substitute that you are giving to the child if you can give it with milk or anything else because if the child does not take a think directly then you have to find a substitute to it that you can add it in
