A. dear parent, to improve your baby's weight, give top food three times a day and up to half katori every time. give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. consistency of food should be like that of Ghee. add Ghee to every meal. use top milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer. avoid fruit juice and soup. add powdered nuts like almonds to baby's food.

A. hi dear Between 8 months and 1 year of age, your baby needs 750 to 900 calories a day. 3 Half of that (about 450 calories) should come from breast milk. 450 calories equal approximately 24 ounces (720 ml) of breast milk daily.
