#AsktheExperts my baby passing stools frequently after drinking milk.till now he passed more than 8 times small quantity and normal consistency is it normal or should I visit a pediatrician

A. As a general guideline, expect your breastfed newborn to poop after almost every feeding, usually five-12 times per day. After a few weeks, however, baby poop frequency will dwindle to three-four times per day. Babies older than 6 weeks may poop even less often — maybe even once a week.
