A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly.
if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid givingd more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapplde banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. Infant constipation often begins when a baby starts eating solid foods. If your baby seems constipated, consider simple changes to your infant's diet: Water or fruit juice. Offer your baby a small amount of water or a daily serving of 100% apple, prune or pear juice in addition to usual feedings.
