#asktheexperts my baby is suffering from severe cold and congestion i dont wabt to give her antibiotics and all that high powered medicine what should i do in that case

A. take the advice of your doctor while using such powerful antibiotics Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

A. hi dear If your baby has a cold with no complications, it should resolve within 10 to 14 days. Most colds are simply a nuisance. But it's important to take your baby's signs and symptoms seriously. If symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, it's time to talk to your doctor.
