#asktheexperts my baby is rubbing both the ears excessively from last 1 week. what could be the problem?

A. rubbing of ear as well as itching of the ears is totally normal. if the child is not crying do not worry about it and to decrease the itching sensation you can apply coconut oil over it. do not use earbuds to clean the internal edar cavity. external exar can be cleaned with the help of clean cotton cloth. treatment is given only if the child is crying with pain while itching. for pain you can give paracetamol

A. hi dear Infants should be breastfed on demand – that is as often as the child wants, day and night. No bottles, teats or pacifiers should be used. From the age of 6 months, children should begin eating safe and adequate complementary foods while continuing to breastfeed for up to 2 years and beyond.
