#asktheexperts my baby is one and half year old she keeps putting her tongue out.is thr anything to worry

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. many times keeping tongue outside is very common in children. it is not commonly associated with any major disease condition. sometimes it might be associated with some syndrome and disease condition in which condition a periodic examination will be required along with some investigation. if the growth and development of the of the child is within normal limits for age then it is very less likely that the child is having any disease condition even if the child keeps the the tongue outside the oral cavity

Check the gums of your child either your child is having its teeth which is why your child is behaving like this or there could be one percent chance that there is some problem either on the lips or tongue of your child and that’s why you’re tall is behaving like this
