#asktheexperts my baby is now 2 months 3 week old not always he look at us when held near and looks somewhere else upward but when we push towards us he gives social smile. and respond to sound but not turn towards the source. Is it normal?

A. Some babies become overstimulated by eye contact and the neural messages their brain is receiving! They might refuse to have eye contact for some time afterwards, even for weeks. Over time you will learn your baby's particular personality and know their cues for when they're keen to have eye contact.
