#asktheexperts. My baby is not going to potty from past 4 days.Is it ok or what to do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time.
It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also.
The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the scmell of the stool
Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it is fine. Infants do not pass motion on daily basis and may take some days to pass motion . If not passing motion more than 7 days then use glycerine suppository for motion and lubrication

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning as of now I would recommend that you should get uglycerine suppository done for the child to make sure the baby is able to pass motion on a daily basis you can put coconut oil in the potty area
