#asktheexperts my baby is having running nose with some nazala. I'm using maxtra for the same. is it ok or should I use some other drops? he is 3 and half months old

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicinhies like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .j
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

give steam inhalation
use Nasoclear saline nasal drops
apply warm mustard oil on baby chest and back and feet and gently massage at bed
use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
