#asktheexperts My baby is almost four months old she is having running nose since last 10 days... Doctor suggest to give her drops for nose or max yes but still the same ...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. for cold, as a first step steam inhalation is of great help to relieve nasal congestion and for proper breathing,nasal saline drops like nasoclear can also be put in the nose and repeated many a times as it is harmless n helps in clearing blockage .
for proper medication doctor should be consulted as indications of any medicine can be decided only after proper evaluation and diagnosis.for now you can give maxtra or ascoril flu in proper dose.cold may be viral mostlyit,it may take 5-7 days to resolve and is usually not related to food items but may be related to seasonal variationsn and temperature.can give all seasonal fruits and vegetables also homemade food to the child .
