Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is having cough while sleeping at night. i hv given him levolin. is it suitable? his chest is clear. or should i nabulise him

A. you can give nebulization with ns bottle that is normal saline water. this will help in decreasing both dry cough as well as will help in decreasing the mucus present in the throat of the child. but other nebulization medicines (asthalin, duolin, budecort etc) can be given to your child is decided by the doctor. so your doctor will decide after examination whether your child needs a nebulization with these medicines or not thus the maximum nsebulization that you can give to the child without medical consultation is with normal saline it is totally safe and it is not addictive

A. hello medication varies based on dry cough or wet cough and do nlt give any medication without checking your doctor and it is better to check with doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and applying instant run from Babyhug helps and give honey to soothe throat
