#asktheexperts my baby is getting so much hiccups even after burning. What can i do ?

A. hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach. during the feeding process child takesf air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading toc hiccups. you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem

A. Hello dear parent! Latch your baby well onto your breast and make a good skin contact with your baby while breastfeeding. Ensure that your baby doesn’t take in air. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Good luck and take care.
