#asktheexperts my baby is drooling a lot and she’s 4 months old Can teething be a cause? If not then what can it be?

A. Hi yes excessive drooling of saliva is one of the sign of teething phase.. check out for swollen and hardened gums, if present then gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth

A. Hello mom Drooling is very common in babies. And it gets normal by its own once your baby will turn 7 to 8 months old so you should not worry about it at all. Baby’s face properly around the lips because drooling can cause rash. And also apply Babyhug lotion. Happy parenting Stay home stay safe
