#Asktheexperts My baby is breastfed. she takes feed only for 10 minutes. Is she getting hindmilk? She is 4 months and weighs 5..3 kg. How will she gain weight?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, your baby’s weight is fine. Feeding pattern varies from baby to baby. Some babies feed for shorter duration and some longer duration. Feed as per your baby’s demand. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
