A. dear mum, weight of 5.8 kg is a normal weight for 4 months old baby considering a birth weight of 3.1 kg. For healthy weight gain, you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
