#asktheexperts my baby is 6 months old,his lower stomach is too tight it feels lyke something is there..so is this normal

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravhgating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be begneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.

Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
Give adequate feeding
Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
