#asktheexperts my baby is 4 months old he is on formula and breastfeed both he is not gaining enough weight as all kids his birth weight was 2.3kg and now he is 5.8kgs and weighs very light when taken in hands

Jasmine KaurTrying To Conceive3 years agoA. Hello dear parent,- a baby should be double his birth weight at 6th month of age. So accordingly your baby is gaining weight appropriately. Do not worry. Just feed your baby well and after age 6 months you can start with semi solid diet even formula milk can be given since then. Good luck and take care
