Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is 4 months 2 weeks old. I feel low milk supply nowadays. Whenever my supply is low, I used to take Lactare capsules 3 times a day and supply used to get improve. This time after taking it for 10 days I stopped it and I feel low supply. Can I take it as long as I breastfeed in order to ensure the supply ? Do it has any side effects on long term use ?

A. You Can definitely take these things for a month or two if it is helping you in increasing your lactation so you continue with that your body is not making sufficient breastfeeding I believe which is why the medicines are required to boost up the production you can very well take it for two more months it’s not an issue
