#asktheexperts My baby is 4 month 6 days.. I have strtd top food like mashed banana , apple puree, dal and rice water..how much quantity should I give daily

A. I will not advice you to start giving solids before 6 momth of age.. Its better to wait till 6 months by that time baby's bowel will be mature enough to accept semi solid foods7

A. 4-6 Months Old Never start solids before 4 months. Aim to feed your little one about 1-2 tablespoons of food twice a day. Solid food shouldn't take the place of milk as the main source of nutrients. Indeed, babies should still drink about 4-6 ounces per feeding when they're 4 months old.
