#asktheexperts My baby is 27 days old. born prematurely at 34 weeks of pregnacy. he starts crying while passing gas and feels like he applies alot of pressure while passing motion too. his fave becomes red and he starts to squeal and cries. What can i do to ease his pain. please advise.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut .
other facthuors include cow's milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feeding, not giving proper burping after each feed.
Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be given as suggesgted by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .
