To increase the weight of a child, it is important to include fat and protein rich foods in baby's diet like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, chicken, eggs, fish, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado and 500-550 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids like curd, buttermilk, fresh juices and coconut water.
