#asktheexperts My baby is 1 yr old and her weight is 7kg300 grm. She is having meal 4 times in a day along with breast feed and formula. some how her weight is not gaining . Dr is saying weight is normal but I am not satisfied . can you please suggest what to do to increase weight?

See what was the birth weight I don’t know but it should be at least three times of the birth weight or 10 kg by the age of 12 months whatever is on the higher side so currently with food that you are giving then check if your child is suffering with any issue of constipation or indigestion because that can be a reason that your child is not gaining weight and a lot of times it can be associated with nutritional deficiency so you can check with your doctor and start with necessary supplements required
