#asktheexperts my baby is 1 yr 11 months old I give him sooji every day . Is it good for health? Cannot add milk as he can’t digest

A. Your child is almost 2 years old and now you can include other solid foods in the diet. Sooji is given when solid foods are introduced as it is easier to swallow. It is important to develop chewing habits now and therefore feeding rice, chapati, oats, dalia, khichdi, idli-dosa with sambhar, legumes, boiled egg, omelette, chicken soup, etc. is recommended.
