Q.
#asktheexperts My baby has cold and dry cough since last 3 days. His cold is now under control but cough is not. His crying voice has been changed because of dry cough. Please suggest any suitable method to release his dry cough from chest. I have consulted a pediatrician who has prescribed the following medicines. I am still using these medications also I am giving steam and nebulizer thrice a day.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 5 m old girl3 years agoA. do heat fomentation for that ,take a clean Cotton clothe heat the tava place Cotton clothe on it for few seconds check with your hands first that clothe should not be too hot then gently place it on your child chest and back

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 5 m old girl3 years agoA. hi yes steam inhalation and nebulizer will definitely help so please complete course of medicine as per your doctor's prescription along with that , please give plenty of breastfeeds to your child give Sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day keep your child head and ears covered well
