#asktheexperts My baby got the MMR vaccine on October 24, but yesterday the injection site became swollen and hard. Is it normal for swelling to appear a week later?

A. Mam check with your doctor for swelling I can advise you to keep an ice cube but if it’s happening after almost 7 to 8 days of vaccination the swelling is happening then better to check with your doctor regarding that

Q. My baby is 19 months old and got DTaP vaccine..the injection site became red and swollen..and the reddish rash had shifted to a side from the injection site..does it go away by its own? Or any medication is required??the site is very painfull even after giving paracetamol..doctor has suggested to take ibuprofen and now pain is ok but rash is still there..is there any chance to concern?
