#asktheexperts My baby boy is currently 7 months old but is not sitting as of now. Anything special i can do ? Or i should wait for him to sit by himself

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling.
in some cases crawling mayg be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support.
take a medical check up donef to confirm if there is need of any intervention.
