#asktheexperts my baby boy birth weight is 2.4 now he is 8 months old .. weight is 7.1 please let me know if weight gain is sufficient for ,8, months old.

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby it should double the birth weight by , 5 month of age and triple by 1 year of age considering the average parameters weigth of the baby seems fine

It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
