#AskTheExpert my girl baby is 8 1/2 months old. her birth weight was 3.0kg. now current weight 7.1 kg. suggest me ways for weight gain

A. Hi You can add nutritious caloric dense foods like ghee almonds walnuts cashews dates banana chickoo peanuts til seeds coconut egg avocado banana sweet potato to baby's recipes for healthy weight gain

Hi mommy At six months weight should be double to birth weight Give adequate feeding from one breast at a time to rich to hind milk which is rich in fat helps to increase baby's weight Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
