#AskTheExperts My 7 months old baby boy suffering from UTI... What should I do? I have already gave urin test for my baby... Bt.. The result will comes after 2 days... Bt my son already suffering for 3 days... He is crying a lot... What should I do? Plz help me...

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 7 months old and if he is having a uti then give him frequent breast feeding and fruits juice and plenty of water and avoid ibuprofen but paracetamol if needed

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello mommy, Treatment for UTI include antibiotics, giving your child lots of fluids, and acetaminophen or ibuprofen to reduce pain or fever. To prevent UTI in babies and children do not wash the genital area with soap, do not use bubble bath and give your child plenty of liquids.
