#asktheexperts my 4yr 8mnth old daughter has been waking up at nights due to severe leg pain. Doc says it is because of lack of vitD or B12 but we have been giving her supplements from past 3/4mnths.

A. Actually this is basically called growth pain which is common to be seen between the age of 3 1/2 years to 13 years and vitamin D and calcium is good to be given during this time and vitamin D not given for three months in this age so please check with your doctor before you continue to start with a calcium supplement also and massage their legs with warm mustard oil
