#asktheexperts My 4.5 months old baby has started teething. How to comfort her? Can we use teethers and fruit nibblers at this time? Also, most people say to apply honey on the gums during teething. Should we do this? Shouldn't we introduce sugar, salt and honey to the baby only after an year?

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist2 years agoA. massage the gums with a moist clean cotton cloth and give cold silicone teethers to chew on them.
no do not apply honey.
you should not give honey till the age of 1 year
yes no salt and sugar till the age of 1 year. don't listen to what people say. do your reasearch, read about it and follow that.
