#asktheexperts my 3 year old gets white patch like thing on her tongue, it does not itch.. it happens frequently.. can u suggest how can i get rid of it?

A. Oral thrush is a common fungal infection in and around children's mouths. Oral thrush looks like white spots and patches. Thrush often goes away on its own, but children sometimes need antifungal drops or gel. Take your child to the GP if you think they have thrush.
