#asktheexperts my 10 month old baby girl suffering in fever 100.22 F since morning she can't take her feeds properly what can I do sir

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a properg dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A.  6 months to 24 months: 5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day. 2 years to 4 years: 7.5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day.
