So you cannot actually feed the child in this case when the mother is having a problem like chickenpox which is contagious she cannot feed the child she cannot even come close to the child till the time she does not have a proper clearance with chickenpox otherwise a child is going to get the infection you will have to wait but yes you can check with the doctor if expressing and feeding is an option for you
