A. The appearance of white gums in a six-month-old baby can be a sign of teething. It's common for the gums to become swollen and appear white or translucent before a tooth breaks through. You may notice other signs of teething such as increased drooling, fussiness, and a tendency to chew on objects. It's important to keep in mind that every baby is different, and teething symptoms can vary. If you're concerned or if your baby seems uncomfortable, you may want to consult with your pediatrician for guidance on how to ease teething discomfort and ensure your baby's oral health is developing properly.
