A. yes flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completionx of 7 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children. flu vaccine can be started at any age. best time for flu vaccine is usually just before rainy season on set

A. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect agacinst different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year sfingle dose is required . It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
