#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor..My child Samaira had a flu shot last year in November . I have heard that it's being suggested these days to get your child get a flu shot. My question is since she got a shot in November last year, 8 months before, do I still need to get her the FLU shot in July this year or I can wait till October . Please advise.. Thank you.

A. it is advisable to take flu shot to the baby once in a year At present the influenza vaccine better to take the baby though it is optional vaccine it will have some immunity against the covid-19 infection since there are no vaccines for the baby below 18 years of age
