#asktheexperts Is it advisable to consume whey isolate protein when uric acid is 9.1?

A. Namaste Would not recommend it as though whey protein is not high in purines which is to be avoided in high uric acid levels as such but still it is high in proteins and that in turn could lead to kidney load so if the dr suggests that your kidney is normal and fine and not much load you may otherwise better to avoid
